Coconut scones

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups wheat  flour
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon  salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

STEPS

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C
  2.  In a large bowl add dry ingredients ie flour, coconut, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Then whisk well.
  3.  Add in dry ingredients, and rub it with your fingers until you get a crumbly mixture.
  4.  Add vanilla, eggs, and milk then mix until a dough is formed.
  5.  Use a tablespoon to scoop out the dough and Place the dough balls in a prepared baking tray.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven, let them cool and enjoy
