Easy Crepes

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar
  • 1  teaspoon of salt
  • 2 1/2 cups  of milk
  • 5 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

STEPS

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, whisking continuously until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
  4. Let the batter rest for about 10-15 minutes to allow it to thicken slightly.
  5. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Lightly grease the pan with butter or cooking spray.
  6. Pour a small amount of the batter onto the heated pan, swirling it around to create a thin, even layer.
  7. Cook the crepe for about 1-2 minutes, or until the edges start to turn golden brown.
  8. Flip the crepe using a spatula and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes on the other side.
  9. Transfer the cooked crepe to a plate and repeat the process with the remaining batter, greasing the pan as needed.
  10. Serve the crepes warm and enjoy.
